Vital Transit Solutions – Student Transportation Services
Effective for the 2025–2026 School Year
 

1. Service Overview

Vital Transit Solutions provides safe, reliable before and after school transportation for K–12 students across Lee County, Florida. Services include scheduled pickup and drop-off, occasional on-call rides, and sibling add-on options.


2. Enrollment & Eligibility

  • Transportation services are available to students with a completed and signed enrollment form.

  • Services are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Parents/guardians must ensure all emergency and contact information is accurate and up to date.


3. Pickup & Drop-Off Policy

  • Parents must ensure students are ready and present at the scheduled pickup location.

  • Drivers will wait a maximum of 5 minutes before marking the student as a no-show.

  • Children must be picked up promptly at the designated location. A late pickup fee may apply if the child is not retrieved on time.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Same-day cancellations may be subject to a 50% charge of the ride fee.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the ride fee.

  • Refunds are only issued for cancellations made within the appropriate time window, or if Vital Transit fails to provide the scheduled service.

5. Student Conduct

  • Students must follow all safety instructions from drivers and staff.

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times.

  • Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.

  • Parents are responsible for any damage caused by their child to the vehicle.


6. Emergencies & Delays

  • In the event of an emergency (accident, severe weather, etc.), parents will be notified immediately.

  • Vital Transit Solutions is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other uncontrollable circumstances.

  • In such cases, we will make every effort to maintain communication and ensure the child's safety.


7. Hold Harmless Agreement

By enrolling in our transportation service, you agree to hold Vital Transit Solutions, its employees, drivers, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liability arising from transportation services, except in cases of proven gross negligence or misconduct.


8. Modifications

Vital Transit Solutions reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. All enrolled families will be notified of changes via email and/or posted updates on our website.
